How do you change a turf game field into the coolest place to play Lasertag? Page 3 The support for the stairs to the observation deck is being put into place.
We have 336 (60 pound) bags of cement to fill in the footer holes. Hopefully the inspector will ok the footings and we can begin to pour the concrete soon. The picture on the right is Dave working on the upper level.
A view of the left & right side of the playing arena. The VIP party area is coming out onto the center of the field - They are working on the beams for the second level above the briefing area. The picture on the right shows the area where players will get suited below and the outline of where parents can watch from above. Pete and Zack rented the cement mixers. Here Matt is mixing the cement for Kirby and Josh to secure the footings in place. The Light Towers are being assembled and will be in place before the playing field is delivered from Tulsa. Other area's being prepared are the 2 pre-existing party areas. Lisa prepares the walls by putting on a coat of primer before Matt and Rob paint them. Below are pictures of the Light Towers. To make the tower first the track has to be shot into the concrete floor and the ceiling as well. Then they build the frame and start to add the support bars. In the last photo below you can see the walk through that was added for game play. Pictured below is Pete of Phoenix Contracting (our construction company). Pete designed our Light Towers and declined to be interviewed : ) The ceiling was dusted with a scissor lift and a compressed air machine and then painted black in preparation of the playing field being delivered from LASERTRON soon. It's a dirty job, but Rob and Zack had fun.
Pictured above are the black light fixtures on the newly painted ceiling.
